Crewkerne is surrounded by beautiful Somerset countryside, with plenty of trails and walks to enjoy at your own pace. ​

​Crewkerne Heritage Trails ​

​Introductory Town Trail – approx 1.25 miles​

An introduction to the main points of interest in the town centre. This walk takes you around the town and then up to Bincombe Hill. This walk is mainly on roads and footpaths.​

Blue Plaque Trail – approx 1.1/4 miles ​

An easy walk to visit all the Blue Plaque Buildings in Crewkerne. This walk is on roads and footpaths. ​

Countryside Walks​

Walk North of Town – approx 1.5 miles ​

Town & country paths, a few gentle slopes and one steep descent.​

Walk East of Town – approx 2.5 miles​

Easy walk along town & country paths, one steep ascent and 5 stiles. ​

Walk West of Town – approx 2 miles ​

Moderate / difficult walk along country paths and lanes with 2 steep slopes and 5 stiles. The walk can be very muddy, especially after rain. ​

Walk South of Town – approx 2 miles​

Moderate walk along town and country paths with 3 stiles.
