SCP1-5, dependent on experience (£17,842 – £19,312 – pay award pending).
These posts are both 37 hours per week and post holders will be entered into the Local Government Pension Scheme.
Crewkerne Town Council is excited to announce that it is expanding its grounds maintenance team and as such there are now two vacancies for grounds maintenance staff.
This job is varied and interesting, involving all aspects of grounds work including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, bedding and minor maintenance works.
Previous grounds maintenance or horticultural experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given. A full, clean, UK driving licence is required.
The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team and be focused on providing a quality level of service to the residents of Crewkerne.
